Tuning In to Sound & Nature

Children: Will be led on a hike, explore the woods, experiencing nature, and will enjoy a snack together. Other children’s activities may include: yoga, nature art, and group games. Parents – Please pack your children for the weather that day and bring a water bottle for your child.
Parents: Participate in a meditative sound bath featuring gongs, crystal bowls, and other instruments. Mats and eye masks, as well as stones & crystals to aid meditation are provided. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.
Child Facilitator; Cassondra Trautsch has been working with children of all ages in a range of wilderness and outdoor education settings for over 10 years. Her experience is gained through roles at Coulee Connections in Wilderness Education, directing summer Youth programs through Wisconsin Youth Company, as well as experience in Montessori and Waldorf Education. Cassondra is trained in Wilderness First Aid, CPR and Certified Children’s Yoga teacher through Breathe For Change.
Sound Facilitator; Edward Schultz began playing music at age 5. That study and practice supports his intuitive process while working in the rudiments of Vedic Sound Therapy. Over the past 10 years, working with Symphonic Gong, Hoop Drum, Chimes, Tibetan and Crystal Bowls, Ocean Drum, Monolina and other instruments, he has helped hundreds of people to release stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
